Nancy Susannah McDaniel Page and Benjamin Franklin Page-1890's.
Nancy Susannah McDaniel Page was born July 13, 1851 in Leon County. She married her older sister's widower Benjamin Franklin Page on December 27, 1873. She died on March 17, 1922. Benjamin Franklin Page was born November 27, 1843 in Kookerton, North Carolina. He came to Florida at the age of 4 and lived in Leon and Wakulla counties. Served with the Company C 5th Florida Regiment and fought at Manassas, Harper's Ferry, Anteatem and Gettysburg where he was wounded. Returned to Leon/Wakulla County and fathered 9 children: (with first wife Mary Jane McDaniel Page) William Franklin Page, and Ida S. Page, with Nancy Susannah McDaniel Page: Catherine Elizabeth, Walter Melcheseldec, Florence Elena, Viola, Troupe Lamar, Clara Mae, and Maude Allen. B.F. Page served as Justice of the Peace and School commissioner. He died on April 24, 1918.
