Fishing: Lake Talquin, Lake Seminole, and the Apalachicola and Ochlockonee Rivers, and Woodruff Dam area are some of Gadsden County's fishing sites.
Hiking trails: The City of Chattahoochee's Angus Gholson Nature Park is famous its many rare plant species. Another hilly hiking spot is Bear Creek, south of Quincy, on land managed by the Florida Division of Forestry. The Greenways and Trails website lists several hiking trails in the region and can be found at hwww.floridadep.org/gwt/. Other hiking trails in the ARROW region can be found through the Florida Trail Association's website at www.florida-trail.org.
