Description

Sprawling small shrub with hairy, woody, hollow stems. Can behave vine-like and stems can grow to 6 m long. Occurs in terrestrial as well as aquatic habitats. Cordate leaves are alternate with long petioles and entire margins, 13-23 cm in length and slightly hairy on both surfaces. Tubular flowers are pinkish-white and 5.2 to 6.0 cm long and 1.6 to 1.8 cm wide at mouth.
